• Thank you so much for a delicious meal!  The kids really loved the calamari and chips, and the salmon was superb. Great friendly service too. We'll be coming back again!

  • Its good to see that The Gap has a new eating establishment. I would recommend Zegatos to anyone that wants a relaxed dining experience with all the trimmings. The food and service was top class, my steak was cooked to perfection... one of the best I have ever had. I will be returning to try the salmon next time i think!   • I can honestly say that Zegatos served me the best steak I have ever eaten.....bar none! This is a big call as I take my clients to big name restaurants in the CBD on a very regular bases. I was also very surprised when the Chef came to our table to ask how we were enjoing the meal...now thats confidence!! My wife had the King Snapper and once again it was all class. I hope the ashgrove Club see the true potential Zegatos can offer.

  • I hear that Zegatos is having a competition at their Restaraunt to produce the best Calamri in town.  Big order. But I can tell you that it is the best in Brisbane and if they falter, they will give you your money back.

  • I read in the local paper about this Calamari challenge, so had to give it a go. BLOODY HELL...IT'S GOOD! I spoke to the chef (Tony) for his secret and he said..... Better ask him!! I willigly paid for my calamari and will be back for more. Sorry Tony I will book next time as well..

  • Turned 60 on the 7th September and celebrated with some fifty guests at Zegatos. We were able to book a separate area of the restaurant for a sit down meal and started the evening with appetisers on the outside balcony overlooking the golf course making that venue that much more “special” The food that can only be described as a “10” (the steaks and seafood are especially recommended) Table service was great and how often do you have the chef venture out of the kitchen pre ordering to explain the menu and back up post meal looking for feedback. This is the first time I have ever bothered to write a testimonial, but for Zegatos this needed to happen. This new addition to The Gap Restaurant scene has been long overdue. Try them out and you will not be disappointed.

  • I am a huge fan of Sunday breakfast at Zegatos.  The food is delious and the menu sufficiently varied to suit all tastes. I also love the fact that the the chefs and the staff really care that their guests are comfortable and enjoying their meals. We find Zegatos a great place to take family and friends for a relaxed Sunday get-together.

  • Zegatos was heaving last night with gouls. Great effort Tony and his staff and the Ashgrove Golf Club Bar staff to dress up and make for a fantastic night.  The Menu produced many interesting meals.

  • We spent a very pleasant Australia Day lunch at Zegatos.  Shane had a leg of lamb cooking on the barbecue which was then sliced onto a bread roll.  The best hamburger I have had lately.

  • On 29 June 2013, the wedding reception for Kristen Hunter and Glenn Atkinson was held at Zegatos restaurant. We cannot speak highly enough of the attention paid to the preparation for the reception, the service on the day and the delicious food which was enjoyed by all at the event. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue for any special function. Thank you for making my daughter's wedding day so wonderful. She will cherish the memory for a long time.

  • Zegatos is a breath of fresh air to The Gap/Ashgrove dining scene. The food and service from the team is greeat. The menu is first class. Don't forget to try Tony's special calamari. You have to love a place that provides pencils and for children to keep them entertained. This is a go to place when looking for a family night out at our place.

  • I was the first testimonial on this websie some year ago. Lately we have been three times with our friends and everyone scored the meal and service very highly- On Friday 20th Sept I had my 75th birthday dinner party. The food was sublime( especially the sand crab ravioli) tonight, the 25th Sept my wife and I dined on the exquitsate brushetta mushroom and goat cheese as an entree and we both had the most fabuous prawn and scallop pasta.. I said recently it is the best food withng 20 kms, I was wrong, it is the best within at least 50km's of home. Well done Tony and Shane and a great staff to support them.
